We are a Spanish firm specialized in engineering and industrial construction projects. Currently, we are looking for a Maintenance Instument Technician. It would take place in the North Sea (UK) in operation and maintenance off-shore works.

Your main functions would be the following ones:

- To deliver a high quality, consistent and competent Instrument Technician construction and maintenance service, in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures.
- The candidate should possess a good understanding of safe working practices and can demonstrate commitment to safe working at all times.
- The candidate should demonstrate the ability to read/understand and implement procedures/specifications/drawings/sketches/etc. To deliver a high quality, consistent and competent instrument technician construction service in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures
- Inspect and test all 3rd party and propietary equipment, ensuring everything is in order.
- To support overall delivery of company goals and schedule.
- To ensure all that all workscope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment
- Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the instrumentation technicians workscope is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Complete all workscope in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches
- Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team.
- Raising applicable Permit to Work (PTW) in order to complete workscope in a controlled and safe manner.
- Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete workscope in a safe and controlled manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

- 4 Year Instrumentation and Control Apprenticeship or Level 2 NVQ equivalent
- City and Guilds (C&G) in an appropriate instrumentation/control subject and or NVQ Level 3 in related trade
- BOSIET or FOET, MIST and an approved Offshore Medical
- ISSOW Level 1 & 2
- Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (COMPEX)
- Asbestos Awareness
- Confined Space Entry
- Manual Handling
- COSHH Awareness
- Risk Assessment
- Possesses a good standard in spoken and written English

HSEQ Responsabilities:
- It is mandatory that the incumbent is familiar with, and follows the Company's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management System and takes an active part in the compliance and improvement of the Management Systems
- The incumbent must report any accidents, incidents, near misses, actual or potential problems with products, services or systems according to the Management System processes/procedures
- The incumbent also has legal responsibilities under country-specific health and safety legislation to follow all Company policies, procedures, guidelines, control measures, signage and permit conditions and to know what to do in an emergency
- The incumbent is also responsible for the health and safety arrangements of subordinates (if any) and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises

Requisitos

Estudios mínimos: Ingeniero Técnico
Experiencia mínima: Al menos 4 años
